Common cultivation patterns in greenhouses

The modern greenhouse is a new type of greenhouse transformed from the mechanization and intelligent upgrading of the traditional greenhouse. The advantages of the new intelligent greenhouse are that the structure space is more spacious, the environmental control ability is stronger, the amount of labor is less, and the environment is more friendly.

less labour needed

better growing environment

Common Cultivation Modes of New Smart Greenhouses

  • The traditional ground planting mode

It is planting crops in the soil of the greenhouse directly. This cultivation mode is the most common and the lowest cost, but our new greenhouse will not use the traditional flood irrigation method, but it is carried out in a precise way of water and fertilizer integration.

  • Hydroponic hydroponic mode

The hydroponic mode is to use some pvc pipes or some large-scale cultivation tanks to grow plants in water, which are divided into shallow liquid flow mode and deep liquid flow mode. The core of the hydroponic mode is the use of nutrient solution, because the nutrients for plant growth are all absorbed by the nutrient solution in the water, which requires high technology, and is generally suitable for leafy vegetables.

  • Substrate cultivation mode

The substrate cultivation mode is to use artificial planting grooves to replace the substrate for fixing plant roots with coconut bran, rock wool, peat soil, etc. that can be easily obtained. The advantage of substrate cultivation is that it eliminates the problems of soil-borne diseases and soil compaction. At present, the technical requirements of substrate cultivation are less difficult.

How to save energy in new smart greenhouse

First, from the aspects of thermal insulation and the area of use.

Greenhouses produced over winter in temperate regions are preferably made of well-insulated winter sheds, double-arched and double-film sheds with quilts that are arched in the north and south. Multi-span greenhouses is also a good choice.

Second, for tropical regions, you can choose to use multi-span greenhouses with a higher degree of scale.

It is equally important to choose a reasonable greenhouse style according to different temperatures and planting conditions in different regions.
